| Rockford Fosgate, Kicker Amps, JL Audio, Alpine etc... There are many more good brands out there but I just named the common ones people buy. Oh, even a couple Sony Xplod amplifiers are rated correctly from CEA-2006 |

| All you will need is to spend some money on a radio unit (the thing with the volume knob and tells you what station youre listening to, etc.) Go to best buy or somewhere that sells and installs car audio equipment and they can provide you with exactly what youre looking for. |

| Hey I need your help. I have a Volkswagen bug with a 50 amps Bosch alternator. I have installed a 600W pioneer 4 channel amp, a 800W pioneer mono amp, a 10" Pioneer sub and all conected to a OPTIMA yellow battery. My question is this: at night my lights keep getting low along with the sub's bass, why? |

| @imfercho Well, your alt can only provide about 700W (50A * 14v = 700W). With your total of 1300W, that can make your lights dim. Install a capacitor between the battery and the amp, preferably within 18in of the amp. I only have a 75A alt for 1600W for my two 15's, and that's only getting 1050W from the alt. I have a 1.9F cap for my amp and it eliminates the problem. |
