Read what he said. They are not holding back the car from going forward the front brakes do that, they are holding it straight, otherwise it would be going side to side.
And yes one or two people on each side could do it easily. Inform yourself before blithering away.
The lateral force on a car spinning both rear tires while held still by the front brakes is not great. Two people could easily keep the car from going sideways. It is proven in every one of these videos, yet you continue try to convice otherwise.
